130 investors urged G20 to ratify global climate deal
The 130 investors grouped in six coalitions who manage more than US$13 trillion (9.8 trillion pounds) of assets urged leaders of G20 to ratify a global climate deal by end of 2016. The urging meant push step up efforts to shift from fossil fuel. The group called G20 to double global investment in clean energy, develop carbon pricing and phase out fossil fuel subsidies. "compete your process for joining/ratifying the Paris Agreement in 2016 if possible" The latter said.
