Suspended Brazil President Rousseff told senators not to accept coup
Brazil suspended president Dilma Rousseff told senators during her trial on Monday that voting for her impeachment would amount to a "coup d'etat".
Rousseff declaring her innocent and calling how she was tortured under Brazil's military dictatorship in 1970's, she warned that Latin America's biggest country was on the verge of losing its democracy.
Rousseff who accused of having taken illegal state loans to patch budget holes in 2014 said "vote against impeachment, vote for democracy, do not accept coup".
The suspended president said "I've come to look your excellencies in eye to say that I did not commit a crime"
