Gabonese President reject EU observers call on vote recount

Gabonese president Ali Bongo Odimba has rejected EU observers calling for election votes recount. Bongo said recounting or not recounting it was the decide to the people.

Odimba insisted that he cannot violating the law "What people should be asking me to do is apply the law. I cannot violate the law, as far as recount is concerned"

Odimba said " I would have liked them to have noted some anomalies in the fiefdom of Mr Ping. If we are raising anomalies, we have to be clear, balanced and raise all the anomalies that have been noted".
