Fire fighters in Spain and Portugal battling blazes on Wednesday. The fire was raging in Portugal's Peneda - Geres National Park near Spain's Northern Galicia region border.

The deputy mayor of the nearby city of Arcos de Valdevez, Helder Barros said "Pastures have burned, there is nothing for livestock to eat."

Over 2,700 Portugal firefighters backed by aircraft were at the scene of 80 fires and 3,800 were deployed at 100 fires.
