Michael Platin to address Congress despite FIFA's ban
Former UEFA president Michael Platin will be allowed to address the Congress as a "gesture of humanity" despite FIFA's ethnic committee ban.
Platin allowed after UEFA asked ethics committee to the matter.
UEFA asked formally adjudicatory chamber of the independent ethnics committee for an exceptional for Platin to make a short farewell address to its congress in Athens, said the statement.
Mr. Hans-Joachim Eckert chairman of adjudicatory chamber has granted this exception as gesture of humanity.
FIFA banned Platin four years from all soccer related activities for ethnic violation.
