UN boss warns Russia over Syria airstrike

United Nation High Commissioner of Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Al Husein warned Russia over use of incendiary weapons in Syria's besiege enclaves of eastern Aleppo said crimes by one side did not justify illegal acts by the other. The commissioner Zeid said the situation in Aleppo demanded new initiatives.

Zeid said the use of indiscriminate weapons such as incendiary weapon in heavily populated ares was particularly grave concern.

Zeid said reminding all State parties to protocol III of (CCWC) including Russia Federation that they are strictly prohibited from using incendiary weapons in airstrikes on heavily populated ares, and the use of such weapon on ground forces is severely restricted.
