Russia sent missile system to Syria following

Russia has sent advanced missile system to Syrian port of Tartus following tensions escalate between it and United State over Syria conflict.

Russia announcement came after US suspends talks with Moscow.

Russia has been accused of bombing indiscriminately including targeting hospitals. But Moscow denied that it strikes hitted hospitals, said it was deploying an S-300 missiles system to Tartus.

Russia defence ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said the S-300 is purely defensive system and poses no threat to any one.
