12 dead in Hurricane Matthew in Haiti
Hurricane Matthew has now churned toward Bahamas en route to Florida. Matthew has killed 12 people so far in Caribbean.
About Haiti's 11million people are expected to be affected in one way or another, said the United Nations office for coordinating humanitarian affairs.
Over 600,000 are now living in emergency shelter, and about 350,000 are needs immediate assistance in Haiti said UN general Ban Ki-moon.
NHC said Hurricane Matthew caused landfall shortly after daybreak Tuesday in Haiti an category four near southwestern town of Les Anglais, blowup wind of around 30 km per hour.
