US accused Russia for cyber attack

United States accused Russia of direct cyber attacks which seems to interfere with US election process.

This is the first accusation by Washington against Moscow in spate of cyber attacks, the statement released by Department of Homeland Security and Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

US said would respond to the cyber attack without offering details. US officials said will take action to protect its interests including in cyberspace, and will do so at a time and place of its choice.

US believe on the scope and sensitivity of the efforts its only Russia's seniors most officials could have authorized those activities.

The statement said the disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process.
