Libya forces advanced to retake Sirte from IS

Libya pro-government forces advanced to retake Sirte from Islamic States. Libyan forces allied with U.N. fighting at Ghiza Bahriya backed by US airstrike have advanced at Ghiza Bahriya, 14 pro-government troops killed and over 20 wounded.

Sirte fall into Islamic State hands a year ago following the fall of Muhamad Gadafi.
